THE REQUIREMENT

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Customer Marketing & Events Manager to manage highly visible events and develop and lead the customer marketing programme.

Working closely with the sales team and marketing team to identify event goals, content, and promotion strategy, and coordinate all event logistics. Secondly, building a client marketing programme that strengthen relations with clients, in turn leading to deeper, more meaningful relationships.

DELIVERABLES

Events

  • Own the planning, production and execution of events hosted in the UK and Ireland – both internal and external – from large hosted events to participation in industry tradeshows, smaller events, to virtual events
  • Develop content led events, that position the organisation uniquely in the market – driving the end to end to process, from objectives, requirements, message & persona development, through to activity execution to outcomes and KPI’s
  • Responsible for building the event strategy and event goals to ensure event success.
  • Serve as event project manager, responsibilities include, but are not limited to: pre-event planning, venue selection, vendor management, agenda development, event promotion and registration, logistics, on-site event management, event follow-up and reporting.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, offerings teams, PR, and executive management to achieve business goals via event marketing.

Customer Marketing

  • Develop and roll out a client relationship programme, increasing engagement with executive persona’s across the key client accounts
  • Create and develop a plan around marketing to key customers, to drive up-sell/cross sell of our client’s solutions, leveraging a wide array of channels including events
  • Development of best practice “client journey” engagement campaigns through direct and indirect channels to ensure that have a number of touch points with customers throughout the year
  • Manage flagship public sector campaign.

The appropriate candidate should have the following skills

  • At least 3 years experience in marketing for a B2B events company
  • Experience of developing marketing strategies for multiple large scale events (offline and/or online)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement (internal and external) with the ability to influence
  • Proven experience running successful paid media campaigns.
  • Copywriting experience for email, landing page and paid media campaign

Expected salary: £80000 – 110000 per year
