Job title: Senior Building Surveyor

Job description: CS2, part of RSK Group, are looking for a Senior Building Surveyor to join them, playing a key role in the specialist services they provide. The Senior Building Surveyor will provide full building surveying services to clients across the London. You will be expected to to work collaboratively with the wider team to encourage innovation, share ideas and best practice, as well as having a focus on cost-efficient working.
CS2 are building surveying and cost consultancy experts providing a full range of multi-disciplinary property and construction services for all market sectors across the UK and Europe. Services include construction consultancy, building surveying, dilapidations, cost consultancy, and energy and sustainability consultancy. CS2 aims to deliver the most innovative and customer focused surveying and consultancy services.
Responsibilities:
Provide professional building surveying duties including building inspections, acquisition surveys, dilapidations, contract administration, maintenance and refurbishment projects, schedules of condition, party wall awards, etc.
Communicate internally and externally for project implementation and completion.
Develop and maintain relationships and attend meetings along with other company functions with existing and new clients while developing business opportunities.
Continuous effort to develop knowledge and skills through CPD, awareness of all necessary legislation then sharing knowledge and information.
Prepare and submit relevant administration.
Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety and quality management.
Qualifications and Experience:
Relevant University degree or equivalent
Member of chartered RICS
Currently in a senior-level position with management experience.
Commercial Aware
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, AutoCAD, NBS, and Microsoft Projects
Strong business development skills
Confident communicator both verbally and written
Able to effectively be part of a team and work independently.
Effective negotiation skills with fee target achievement
