About the role
What you need to know:
This individual would report to Daniel Woehler, Vice President, who is based in London. The individual would office in London, but would be expected to spend approximately 20 to 30% of their time in Spain and other European countries. The candidate would need to be fluent in Spanish and understand the major Spanish real estate markets.
Interact with partners, agents, lenders, advisors and developers as necessary
Source investment opportunities with developers and operating partners
Write investment memoranda for senior management review
Perform financial modelling and analysis required to evaluate projects
Research and understand property markets at macro and micro level
Oversee/Co-ordinate due diligence activities
Support financing or sales activities for the projects
Other duties as assigned
Experience in related areas of property finance, investments, brokerage, development or construction.
Individual should have an academic background in real estate with a BA/BSc or equivalent work experience.
Excellent analytical, writing, and verbal skills coupled with excellent presentation and organizational skills.
Excellent financial modelling skills in Excel is a key requirement
Ability to work under pressure, multitask and meet deadlines with commercial, solution-based approach.
Possess advanced computer ability. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint Argus)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work with a wide variety of people/personalities and diverse disciplines.
Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
Must be willing to travel.
