INTERIM European Category Manager (HR and Professional Services) – Global Consultancy Firm – London – £500-600pd – 6 months

Global Procurement and Supply Chain Consultancy is seeking an interim to join their expanding team to work on a key client in the financial services sector. They are seeking an experienced indirect procurement manager to lead major projects on HR and Professional services categories – also looking for wider indirect experience Joining a thriving team the successful candidate will be operating in a leadership role tasked with devising long-term strategy for the function whilst driving continuous improvement through effective sourcing methods.

The successful Category Manager will be responsible for:-

  • Managing large spends across various indirect categories, including but not limited to, HR, and Professional Services for this key financial services client
  • Prepare tender documentations and lead RFI and RFP’s whilst liaising with customers and bidders as required
  • Managing the full end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from sourcing new suppliers through to long-term SRM
  • Implementing strategic sourcing strategies in order to maximise cost optimization
