Job description: A prestigious US Law Firm is currently looking for a new Legal Project Manager to join the London office. This is a newly created role and will initially be for a 12 month FTC, to work closely with the Partners and Associates within the Litigation department along with other key internal stakeholders. The role has lots of scope to develop and grow.
The role will primarily support clients and Partners / Associates to effectively manage the delivery of legal services to the clients and will include budgeting, service delivery, time / risk and resource management.
The Legal Project Manager will utilise proven project management and technical knowledge to enable effective deliverables via regular written communications (plans, schedules and budgets) and team meetings to manage expectations and updates of all phases of case matters with a key focus on excellent client service and satisfaction achieved via executing, managing and monitoring with continual evaluation.
Our client is seeking a candidate with strong leadership, time management and communication skills – this role will account for all stakeholders and design workflows for keeping stakeholders apprised of project progress as needed.
Law Degree and previous law firm (litigation) project management experience is desirable as a focus will be on eDiscovery project planning with a likelihood to advise on alternative staffing / resource management and finding bespoke solutions when required. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with SharePoint or similar technology. Project management certification or training preferred. Hours are 9:00 – 18:00, hybrid working (2-3 days in the office) and salary is highly competitive with excellent employee benefits.
