Job description: Teaching Personnel are currently working closely with an Ofsted graded ‘good’ secondary school in Bournemouth who require an IT teacher to start in September 2022. This role will be a 1 year contract or permanent if the school were to find the right fit.

The role will primarily involve teaching ICT at KS3 and KS4 level, but A-level knowledge is also desirable. Taking on full teaching responsibilities such as planning, and marking will be expected from the candidate.

The Successful IT Teacher:

• Strong experience of teaching IT at a secondary level up to and including A-level
• Hold an in depth knowledge of the national curriculum, student interaction and good behaviour management skills
• Both newly and fully qualified IT Teachers may apply
• The suitable candidate will interview immediately as this is regarding an offer of a long term position starting in September

Requirements for the role:

• UK Teacher Qualification with QTS (or ECT)
• DBS certification or willingness to obtain one
• Educated to degree level or higher
• Vast knowledge and understanding of the IT curriculum
• Class control and behaviour management skills
• Encourage and motivate the learning of the pupils
• Being a supportive role model to the class
