We have a fantastic opportunity to join us as Head of Professional Services – EMEA. This is a remote role based in UK.

Position Summary

This role has responsibility for collaborating with several teams and entities to identify, structure, position, and monitor Professional Services across a wide number of customers and platforms. Our current portfolio of customers generates high demand for solutions, and this position is repsonsible for bringing the full suite of Rimini capabilities along with applicable professional experiences to bear. This will require innovation and leadership and an ability to work in a matrixed and high growth organization.

Field Sales, Pre-Sales, Product Management and Marketing, Legal, and Client Service are examples of organizations the position will routinely collaborate with to bring innovative solutions to installed base customers.

The successful candidate will bring experience of working through development of Professional Services resulting in a clear Scope, Approach, Schedule, and Outcomes favorable to the Client and Rimini Street. The position also represents a key innovation channel which shapes value propositions into offerings which range from tactical to potential new markets. The successful candidate will develop skills across a variety of Professional Services and Sales capabilities and rapidly expand span of control and influence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build a book of business through engagement with Rimini Street Sales and Clients
  • Represent a pipeline of opportunities on a periodic forecast call
  • Maintain executive relationships with key customer leadership
  • Engage in oversite, not management, of projects to ensure focus on value, quality, and outcomes
  • Represent unique regional market challenges to Rimini Street leadership organizations through formal and informal channels
  • Develop Account Plans for Strategic Customers focused on developing Professional Services and Rimini Street Solutions
  • Lead and Develop Business Cases (internal and client facing) to substantiate recommendations
  • Prepare executive level sales materials focused on outcomes and value and constructed at the appropriate detail
  • Lead focused and prescriptive Road-Mapping discussions with Clients
  • Demonstrate skills in Consultative Selling approach to business development
  • Engage with Professional Services Delivery leadership to scope and estimate projects
  • Collaborate with Professional Services leadership to engage in continuous improvements
  • Assist with developing sales materials including value proposition pitch decks and budgetary proposal templates
  • Lead extended sales teams on strategy, offerings, and selling Professional Services
  • Grow awareness of Rimini Street unique value proposition across personal network; share messaging and gain insight from this endeavor

Qualifications/Skills/Experience

Education

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience; Master’s degree highly desired
  • LEAN or Six Sigma certification, preferred
  • ITIL and COBIT awareness or certification, highly desired
  • AWS and Azure awareness or certifications, preferred

Location

  • UK remote

Experience Desired

  • Significant experience with leading Consulting Services within the ERP Software Industry; or establishing, developing and leading professional services outside ERP Software Industry
  • Proven experience is scoping Projects and designing solutions for clients
  • Knowledge of large ERP products as well as known databases like Oracle, DB2, Hana, SQL, etc.
  • Experience in ERP application support as well as ERP software factories
  • Awareness of or experience with public clouds product (e.g. AWS, Azure and GCP as well as private cloud providers with global and local scale)
  • Experience in Pre-sales being able to build business plans including revenue projections, expenses, present and future value calculations
  • Demonstrated experience in developing proposals and presenting solutions to clients

Skills

  • Superb trouble-shooting skills and tenacity in problem solving
  • Passionate focus on service delivery and the ability to build long term, successful working relationships with Clients
  • Ability to assist in pre-sales efforts and clearly articulate value for the client (hard savings, soft savings, revenue increase and brand goodwill)

Additional Interesting Qualifications

  • Cloud migration and managed services, lift-and-shift methodology for SAP and Oracle
  • IT security concepts and practices such as virtual patching, containerizations, cloud security, encryptions, identity management
  • Knowledge of ERP Industry Solutions
  • Knowledge of any Country Specific Solutions
  • Solution selling trained and / or certified
