ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the Creative Services Manager will be particularly responsible for the smooth running of resource & people operations, ensuring our team are utilised correctly, have the right tools and information to complete their work, and that the account runs as time and cost efficiently as possible.

ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

Reporting to the Operations Director, the Creative Services Manager will help drive operational planning, management and efficiency on the FORD account team at Oliver.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

Resource management

  • Management of all resource requests across teams, and assign relevant resource to each request in a timely, efficient manner. Working closely with department leads to source and assign the most appropriate talent for each project and request
  • Identify and resolve any potential resource conflicts and/or escalate to SMT prior to crisis occurring
  • Forecast resource requirements for the months ahead to ensure staff is consistently utilised and projects are delivered in a cost and time-efficient manner.
  • Support with freelance management – tracking, timesheet management, contract generation & bookings when required
  • Being the in-house expert for the team and rest of the business on our skill sets and capabilities

Operations

  • Deliver against set KPIs for operational planning, development and delivery of Ford account workstreams
  • Define and continually develop all team documentation, processes & policies, and ensure all IIG related news and documentation is shared amongst teams
  • Organisation of account wide bi-weekly meetings and team events
  • Become a champion and ‘superuser’ of project management.com (tools) Create, maintain and analyse utilisation reports support the Operations Director in financial tracking and the overall operations of the account
  • Working in a team of 2 in the Operations team, supporting a wider team of 70 staff across the Ford account

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Experience in resource management
  • 4 years minimum relevant experience in the creative industry
  • Understanding of marketing channels, assets and workflows
  • Problem solving and attention to detail under pressure
  • Be a people focussed person
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask effectively and deal with constant requests and changes
  • Ideally has previous experience using MS projects or Smartsheets
  • Proficient in Excel
