We are looking for candidates who are motivated by, and wish to significantly contribute to the delivery of Operations Management and Sustainability. You will want to focus on modules at different academic levels, including industry part-time students. You will be resourceful and knowledgeable on Manufacturing Engineering and Operational concepts, philosophies, and techniques with a holistic approach on sustainability.

You will need to share our passion for delivering a positive student experience that puts excellence in teaching and learning at the heart of everything we do, being able to demonstrate significant knowledge in your area of specialisation. You will have the opportunity to develop curriculum and design the delivery of teaching so that is engaging, innovative and responsive. Your drive will be to achieve excellent student learning outcomes.

With a dynamic and varied work environment your ability to work flexibly will be important. There are opportunities to promote and support international partnerships, with you potentially delivering teaching onsite at one of our international partners.

You will have either extensive relevant industrial experience at a senior level and/or be qualified to PhD level in a relevant subject. You may already have academic qualifications and industrial experience within relevant manufacturing sectors and Professional Body membership is advantageous. Experience of working in professional educational practice/consultancy projects will also be advantageous.

This position is a teaching focused post that will appeal to you by allowing you to focus on pedagogic practice and curriculum design.
